Window Replacement

The windows were replaced about a year after we acquired the coach.

Why...?   For several reasons:
--The old sliders leaked and rattled as almost 10 years of use and weathering had deteriorated the felt, stripping, and caulk. They probably could have been refurbished, but the new windows had an advantage of having a darker tint than the originals.

--The smaller slider openings at the bottom allows one to kept windows open while driving or during rain.

--Most importantly, I liked the way the new windows look on the coach.

Now to clean off all the dirt, old weather stripping, and crumbling putty...

Finally...new windows installed!

This wasn't that hard a project....just time consuming.

Taking off the inside hardware took the most time -  and since Coachman did a pretty sloppy job cutting the aluminium sides, the openings needed some trimming before the window would fit in properly. Using a small metal grinder worked for that job.  Also, it was helpful to have two pairs of hands lift the windows in place!
