Alcoa Aluminium Wheels

This is the Alcoa "Classic" wheel. 
Originally the GMC had a 16.5" bias and radial tire combination, but were changed to 16 " when tires for the larger wheel size became difficult to find.
Pictured are Alcoa's LTS: P/N 160231 which were available at the time. 

The industry standard has now gone to lug centric, rather than the older models which were hub centric. The new P/N for the wheel is 160211.

This part of the project was easy. Rims are shown installed for the photo only....without the tires, obviously.

The round holes in this rim identify the classic wheel for this MotorHome application.
(Elipical holes are found on similar rims.)

Be aware that another application for this particular wheel is the "Dually" pick-up.

The GMC Classic MH needs only the above mentioned P/N for both front and rear wheels, and not the second wheel which is used for a dually and which has a different P/N
