4-Bag Leveling System

This system was developed by the late Leigh Harrison, a long time GMC Motorhome owner.  Its developement was prompted by the driving "waggle" that occurs with the original coach as the result of the rear wheel offset and driving on truck rutted pavement.  It does not completely mitigate the problem, but does minimize it. 

More importantly, the system also allows for leveling control of each wheel...super handy should a rear tire need to be taken out of rotation because of a failure.

Since the time this system was installed on our coach, there have been some improvements made to the concept...now called the Quad Bagger and sold by Applied GMC in California. But after decades of use, our system is still working well, needing only bag replacements when the rubber components age beyond its use-by date. And fortunately, unlike the original GMC supplied bags, replacements for this system are still available.

This wasn't a difficult project as the manufacturer of the units gave detailed instructions for intallation. With the proper tools it was finished within the time frame of an afternoon.
